Description: Signed on top middle section, EXCELLENT condition, sent rolled.

The painting is done on found fabric. This piece shows a funeral procession of faceless sylph-like figures and the heads of observers; he often rendered images of black people kept in their place by white man’s power with simple black circles. It reflects the sadness of life in an overcrowded, urban environment, or perhaps another loss on a plantation. And yet the energy and passion of the people is always apparent.
