Description: Signed on top middle section, EXCELLENT condition, sent flat.
The painting is done on a piece of paper, glued on top of another piece of paper. It appears that he has painted the outer piece of paper to look like a frame. He paints a boat, another recurring motif in Purvis’s work, which he intended to refer to the struggles on immigrants seeking refuge and freedom in a new land.
